College credit is now available for students participating in Economics for Leaders! With 13 different sites throughout the country, this is an excellent opportunity for high school juniors to enhance their leadership skills and develop an ‘economic way of thinking.’
Economics for Leaders (EFL) is a selective summer program that teaches leaders how to integrate economics into the process of decision-making through a hands-on, experiential environment.
Economics professors and leadership instructors, selected nationwide for their expertise and teaching effectiveness, lead classes that introduce participants to “the economic way of thinking” and build an understanding of and skill in leadership. Attending students will also be challenged by creative decision-making simulations in which they apply the concepts learned in the classroom.
13 different sites on prestigious college campuses throughout the country!
Over 5,500 students have participated in EFL since its inception in 1991. It is a program of the Foundation for Teaching Economics (FTE), a non-profit organization committed to increasing economic literacy throughout the United States.
