We, at the FTE, take accountability seriously and use independent analysts to assess total program impacts. Besides learning a great deal about program results and weaknesses that should be addressed, the outside evaluations of our programs provide valuable information about the effectiveness of contributions to the FTE.
Please take a moment to review our 2013 evaluation undertaken by Drs. Ina V. S. Mullis, Associate Director of Boston College’s Center for the Study of Testing, Evaluation, and Education Policy, and Dana L. Kelly, Research Analyst at the Education Statistics Services Institute in Washington, D.C.
Their report summarizes the significant impacts flowing out of the FTE’s teacher-training and student leadership programs. We have posted their complete 90-page report on the FTE’s website at www.fte.org/about-fte/program-evaluations.
The 2013 evaluation, supported by these testimonials, reinforce our belief that FTE continues to provide students and teachers with exceptional programs, which in turn, greatly enhances economics education throughout the country.
