Optional Graduate Credit for FTE Online Courses

All FTE online courses have been approved for Graduate Credit through the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, CO.

Note: It is the responsibility of the participants to determine whether their school districts or universities will accept UCCS credit.

IMPORTANT: Registration / Withdrawl / Incomplete Policies

▪ Students’ ONLY opportunity to obtain Graduate Credits in Economics will be at the beginning of the course. Late registration and payments will not be accepted.

▪ Students who register for credit and fail the course will receive an "F" on their UCCS transcripts.

▪ Students who withdraw from an FTE online course but who plan to re-take the course within the next calendar year, may request at the time of withdrawal that the instructor assign an IF (incomplete failure) course grade to appear on the UCCS transcript.

PLEASE NOTE:

• The IF request must be made at the time of withdrawal, in writing, and such requests are the sole responsibility of the student.  Email requests for IF to the course instructor AND to cbailey@fte.org
• The FTE's willingness to assign an IF grade does NOT constitute a guarantee to re-offer the course within a calendar year (or at any future time).
• The FTE will NOT notify individual students of upcoming course offerings associated with IF grades.  It is the sole responsibility of the student to RE-APPLY and RE-ENROLL. 
• A new registration deposit must be submitted to re-enroll.
• It is the student's responsibility to inform the FTE at the time of re-enrollment and the instructor that the course is being taken to remediate an IF grade.
• Upon re-enrollment and successful course completion within the calendar year limit, the IF grade will automatically be replaced on the UCCS transcript. (Re-registration for UCCS credit is NOT necessary.)
