Economics for Teachers Virtual

The Economics for Teachers (EFT) Virtual program offers a unique experience for teachers looking to improve their economic teaching skills. This 5 1/2-day virtual program is rigorous and encompasses 30+ hours of instruction providing teachers with lesson plans, economics content instruction, networking opportunities, and a diverse learning format.

Lectures and activities are led by expert economics professors and skilled mentor teachers selected nationwide for their expertise. Both new and experienced teachers will benefit from this program.

EFT Virtual is offered through Zoom Web Conferencing and Canvas Learning Management System platforms. PearDeck, MobLab, and Google Docs will also be used throughout the course during interactive lectures and activities. A laptop/computer with a microphone and webcam is required for this course as well as a mobile device (phone/tablet).  

Three optional semester hours of graduate credit in economics through the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs are available for an additional fee.
