FTE offers different professional development programs for teachers. Topics range from the methodology of teaching economics to a variety of applied economics topics such as international trade, natural disasters, economic history and the environment.
These in-person programs are offered nationwide. Stipends, certificates and graduate credit available.
FTE provides free resources for educators, including curriculum outlines and accompanying lesson plans. All materials may be viewed online or downloaded.

As a new teacher of economics, this program was the perfect jump-start into the basics of the topic, its real-world applications and, most importantly, its relevancy to student’s lives, by teaching them how to think critically about the world around them.
