KATHY RATTÉ – worked for more than 20 years as a high school economics, civics, and American History teacher in suburban Denver, CO, before moving into teacher training. She authored her district’s high school economics curriculum, and directed the standards writing and assessment projects in civics and economics. She received the Colorado Council on Economic Education’s “Enterprising Teacher of the Year” award and won the high school division of the National Council on Economic Education’s “Excellence in Economic Education” competition. Kathy also served on the standing committee for the 2006 National Assessment of Economic Progress (NAEP). She is the FTE’s curriculum director, online course designer, and presents teacher workshops for the Foundation.
