Program Dates

*The 2019 EFIAH NY program is commuter-only; lodging will not be provided.  EFIAH NY sessions will run Monday – Friday from approximately 8 AM – 5 PM each day.

**The EFIAH NY stipend may not be combined with any other discounts or stipends.

NOTE: Regularly scheduled EFIAH programs will start with check-in and registration on Monday afternoon (the first day listed above), followed by a welcoming dinner for all participants and staff in the evening.  A program session will immediately follow dinner on Monday night.  Workshop hours are from 8:00 AM to approximately 5:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday.  EFIAH concludes on Saturday afternoon by 5 PM.

Most meals are included; participants will eat in on-campus dining halls for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  Participants will have one evening during the week free and should plan for dinner on their own on that day.

Housing at the EFIAH programs is covered in full by the FTE if participants are willing to share a room with another program participant (with the exception of the 2019 New York program, which is commuter-only – no lodging is provided at this program).  The 2019 Berkeley program only offers double-occupancy housing.  The option to stay an extra night and check out on Sunday morning may be available for an additional fee.  All housing is in on-campus dormitories.

If you wish to register for the graduate credits for attending EFIAH, you must be in attendance the entire program.  Instructions for signing up for the credits will be sent about a month before the program start date.  If you have any other questions about EFIAH, please contact Lisa Chang at lchang@fte.org for details.
