Webinar: This Is Your Brain On Numbers: Data, Statistics and COVID-19

Dr. Russell Roberts

On Wednesday, May 27 at 3:00 PM PT/ 6:00 PM ET, FTE will present a webinar titled This Is Your Brain On Numbers: Data, Statistics and COVID-19. Executive Director Ted Tucker, will be joined by economist Dr. Russell Roberts, host of EconTalk, co-creator of the Keynes-Hayek rap videos and noted author.

Professor Roberts, widely known for communicating economic ideas in understandable terms, will explore the challenges of thinking carefully about data. He will highlight some of the common mistakes people make in thinking about data and statistics generally with application to economic policy and the current pandemic.

Following a 45 minute presentation, Professor Roberts will take questions from the audience. The webinar is scheduled to last 60 minutes.
