Sara Stancliffe

SARA STANCLIFFE– is a gifted program and English language arts teacher in St. Louis, Missouri, where she also sponsors the Bernard Middle School Drama Club, PRISM (GSA) Club, and Writing Club. Sara is also a founding member of the Race, Social Justice, and Equity Committee of Mehlville School District. She is passionate about drawing awareness to and remedying bias found in classrooms across the country, starting with her own. Sara holds a bachelor’s degree in English and education with a talented and gifted endorsement and minors in music and theatre from the University of Iowa. She earned her master’s degree in education with an emphasis in curriculum and instruction from Lindenwood University. Sara has been working with the Foundation for Teaching Economics since 2016. In her spare time, Sara loves to read, play music, and spend time outdoors.
