APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
You may start an application at any time, however only completed applications will be reviewed. Below are the steps you will need to complete before your application may be reviewed.
Please Note – You will be asked to rank your top three program/sites in the application. By ranking your selections, you are not applying to multiple programs, but instead are indicating your 1st, 2nd and 3rd site program/site preferences. If you are interested in being reviewed for acceptance to two or more programs (i.e. EFL and EGE or E&E), please email admissions@fte.org upon submission of your application so a note can be added to your file.
- Basic Personal Information – Name, address, current high school, current grade (must be 10th or 11th grade)
- Letter of Recommendation – Qualified letters can come from a teacher, advisor or coach
- Transcript – A full high school transcript, showing all in progress and completed coursework
- Personal Statement – You will be asked to respond to a prompt in 750 words or less
- Application Fee – A fee of $35 will be charged once you have completed the above requirements
